RT logoBuilding a Collaborative: Working with our client, Rebuilding Together Bergen County, we facilitated the design of a community revitalization strategy for Paterson, New Jersey. We identified and fostered a collaborative to reduce deaths and injuries through fire safety and prevention, reduce crime though environmental design, reduce asthma-related illness and hospitalizations through education and critical home repairs and modifications. With our help, RT Bergen County has created sustainable, long-term partnerships with community foundations, health care organizations, nonprofits and government entities.

Business and Funder Development: On behalf of NeighborWorks® America, we completed an environmental scan of how to design and fund a sustainable national financial coaching program. Our team identified nearly $500 million in funding sources from private foundations, corporations and government agencies and also developed revenue generating program design strategies and recommended strategic collaborations. As a strategic partner with Financial Education and Literacy Advisers (FELA), we assisted FELA with business and funder development as well as provide design, implementation, communications and outreach support for financial education programs. Our team of financial education experts helped FELA create and launch a financial empowerment program for veterans in partnership with the District of Columbia’s Office of Veteran Affairs, the U.S. Dept. of Veteran Affairs, community-based veteran service organizations, and Bank on DC. Mayor Vincent Gray of Washington, DC announced the launch of VALOR on October 3, 2012 and specifically mentioned Park Road Advisors as an important partner to launch VALOR and help improve the financial capability of our military community.

Program Design, Implementation and Management: Developed program guidelines, fact sheets and FAQs; coordinated legal contracts, created communications plans, marketing collateral, training materials, evaluation metrics/tools, budgets and performance benchmarks for Fannie Mae’s David Maxwell awards, the James Johnson Community Fellows program, and Mortgage Focus, Fannie Mae’s mortgage industry bench-marking survey of cost, productivity and profitability. Project Management: Assisted Living Cities in identifying and incorporating project management best practices for planning, creating and managing projects. Developed processes and documentation protocols that improved Living Cities’ ability to integrate their mission and objectives into project management. Facilitated Microsoft Project training and identified means to manage resources more efficiently and better understand a project’s costs and return on investment.

Communications, Education and Training support: Developed communications and training materials for 1,400 Fannie Mae employees to ensure they understood the features, benefits and ongoing adjustments to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Making Home Affordable program. Designed and administered a web-based SharePoint portal that centralized team communications and information sharing across 28 business units in seven locations throughout the United States. Researched, wrote, edited and published a weekly e-newsletter. Supervised “town halls” with C-level management and federal regulators, and managed an employee brownbag speaker series that leveraged Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio, as well as video and remote tele-conferencing.

Sales and Account Management strategies – Designed, managed and executed marketing, business development and account management strategies for Fannie Mae division that delivered more than $1 billion in loans annually. Created a comprehensive marketing and customer service strategy for CCH Legal Information Services that increased new sales by 22% and renewal rates by 19%.
